I don't see the reason why your shots fails? Well, at least there are nor smoke in your photos which came from fireworks.

i removed the smoke by contrasting... quite a bit...
i feel abit fails cos i think i never caught the fireworks at a proper time... like from start of boom to end of fall...

Oh not everyone does the same thing, well, of course you can start your capture once the firework shoots up. Maybe that would be better. But the explosion of the fireworks are also nice! You can have your chance again to try doing the shoot right from the beginning! Keep it up!
