Please help to comment this..
Besides the facial expression cannot be captured, what else can be done to enhance the visual effect of this photo? Let's ponder.. WELCOME all C&C..

Re: East Coast Cable Ski
hey alex,
The 2nd and the 3rd pics are the best. The 1st one the guy is too high up and the bottom is too empty with not much interesting details.
For pic 3, Maybe u can try cropping off 2/3 from the left of the pic so that it doesn't expose too much uninteresting background on the right. Also, to bring out the contrast of the subject, u can try duplicating layers in PS and select on soft overlay (U might have to adjust the % effect on the soft light overlay). That will bring out the contrast of that pic.. Not to mention, u might also want to try motion blur. It will make it into more of a panning shot as if he is moving really fast.
Just my opinion....
Btw, it is a very wel captured pic. Great composition.

Oh, i just used layers to saturate the colors, used the dodge tool to take off the overexposed backlight and finally, used smart sharpen to increase the sharpness of ur pic.
Last but not least, created the black border to bring out the color impact.
