Exploring Tmn Rimba Kiara
Was supposed to go Bukit Kiara but I ended up at the wrong place. Ended up at Tmn Rimba Kiara but oh well, a very nice place to be. It is quiet and we even spotted an eagle and kingfisher in the area.
But oh well, I was there for a macro shoot so macro shoot I did!
1. First shot of the day, feeding the mozzies while I took the shot. OOF as the two big eyes are soft

ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/200
Aperture: f/13
Exposure bias: 0/6
2. Walked in and spotted some amorous couple having a go. Took two shots and off they went!

ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/200
Aperture: f/18
Exposure bias: 0/6
3. Got lots of long-legged flies and while this shot is OOF (again not on the eyes), I liked the composition

ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/200
Aperture: f/18
Exposure bias: 0/6
4. My first macro using Live View
He was a bit far out for me to reach using the normal viewfinder

ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/200
Aperture: f/11
Exposure bias: 0/6
5. A pink dragonfly - A violet darter

ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/200
Aperture: f/9
Exposure bias: 0/6
6. My first katak

ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/200
Aperture: f/10
Exposure bias: 0/6
7. I've never seen the blue one before

ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/200
Aperture: f/11
Exposure bias: 0/6
8. The Asian mantis? This lil fella won't stand still for me. Took like 10 and only found 1 or 2 that I can marginally call usable

ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/200
Aperture: f/11
Exposure bias: 0/6
9. Spiky!

ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/200
Aperture: f/13
Exposure bias: 0/6
10. Ze moth - captured with natural lighting

ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/250
Aperture: f/8
Exposure bias: 0/6

Re: Exploring Tmn Rimba Kiara
So is it a macro lens or just a normal lens?
