Mosaic: thanks for the encouraging words! still i have doubt from both my frens and reading the reviews online that this lens has bad distortion and CA.

a fren of mine even tell me that there's no way i can use it with a CPL or cokin P series filters.

Well, I have friends who used Tokina 11-16 before, the feedback is quite good. In fact, that is a good lens and with good build!

If you can get it at half the price, you might want to check the lens thoroughly, other than that, everything is fine then you can get the lens. You have to think of your future, you have to save the money if you intend to upgrade your camera, especially to full frame one!

Me! Don't worry, one of my friend is using it with a Nikon mount, the quality and build wise are good considering the price you get and the consistent zoom of F2.8
