When you start getting too agitated or excited over the video game that you are playing, you are in fact increasing your heart beat rate and blood pressure, which is in turn will cause a slow bad effect on your health.

If you play those interactive games like on Wii, I don't think it will cause too much damage on your health, the adverse effect on your health will only take place when you play those very mind stimulating games like those exciting games like horror games.
