Re: Japanese bridge
i can't conclude that D80 would be nicer coz there is one more factor that could affect the photo eventhough using exactly same settings........its the weather condition bro!!! hehehe

Hey! #1 is a great HDR shot! Wow...very nice!
Well, i have to say, My friend robert also uses D80 and having played with his camera, D80 is a very good camera too!. The functions are very much like the 40D but without the ability to adjust sharpness, saturation and tone control. The one thing good abt the nikon D80 is that it comes with D-lighting features, which is quite good and interesting.
Hmm..i'm still learning about HDR and how to make it turn out good. I've failed many times to produce a good HDR shot becos my exposures are not good and not to mention, i took it in jpeg..so....that is even worse...cannot recover or do much abt it. sigh.....
anyhow! I'm continuing to learn and maybe u can impart ur HDr skills to me? hehehe...
Re: Japanese bridge
Hehehehe sorry if i miss understand ur comment bout D80 and 40D....D80 have functions to adjust sharpness, tone and saturation. this is done thru custom set-up menu.
Bro i dont know if u will surprise if i say that i shoot HDR with 1 jpeg file only.....hehehehehe....anyway of course RAW would be better.
maybe next time we have a group EB again....

Huh? U mean u use PS to vary the exposure and then create the HDR? How? Surely the overexposed region are not able to recover even if u under expose the pic....i mean details will be lost for overexposed photos. no...?
Btw, check out Hazmee's HDR shots. He is very good at it. U can find his HDR shots in Landscape forum.
Re: Japanese bridge
hey! bro! just confirm with you...you shoot at least 3~5 shoot with different exposure and combine to become HDR right? Not you "shoot HDR with 1 jpeg file only"...unless you shoot in raw file...

Re: Japanese bridge
Hi rez i only take one shot JPEG only if i make HDR.....i choose picture which is a little bit under expose and adjust the exposure only in PS...if i have raw file then it would be better....i feel unconfortable changing settings from my camera so i prefer always set to JPEG...one more reason is making sure that i have identical photo before merging....taking multiple shots sometimes makes unidentical scene, considering wind blows, clouds movement, subject movement...etc.....
thanks... hope my style or process helps....
