Columbia River Gorge Moments

One of my favorite motorcycle ride involves the Washington side on Highway 14. The views overlooking the river are dramatic and quite unique. The terrain changes drastically from mountain forest to barren high desert.

Thanks for the warm welcome. A mountain range rises above Highway 14. This was a pullover area for tourists that hangs right over a ledge.

#3 would be nice if u have waited for a car to drive past. The reason for saying so is becos there is mid ground and back ground interest, but foreground kind of empty and missing....

Of all the pics, #1 is of the best in my opinion. There is a good balance of interests in the framing.

That's true unless you're a biker like me. The interest is the curve in the road. Smile

hi bob,
if the curve on the road is what u wanted to convey, pls dun mind me being blunt, i think the rocks took away all the attention away from the road.

Not to mention, the curve on the road is not pronounced enough to make an artistic impression....

So...hope u dun mind my honest opinion on what i see and feel.....
