Nice! I like the composition...simple.

I using D80, IR shoot not so easy...need a good sun and wind to get good IR photo. Dedicated camera for IR is best.

I certainly understand, I had started out shooting IR with a Sony 717 and a R72 IR Filter, it was limited to a 1.60th of a second, but really turned out some very nice images. It makes it so much easier shooting a modded camera and I am able to shoot normally which opens up so many more opportunities.

This is great. I'm also using d80 but if budget permits I will buy SH D70S then operate for IR shoot only.

Thanks very much, I have really loved my modded camera, it's really opened up a whole new love for Photography for me. I think when I get another camera modded I will get an "Enhanced" IR Filter. I just like the richness of colors and the interesting colors of things like leaves and water without so much post processing.

yea. nice IR photo. Do you have any IR shots that you did on a milky water on long exposure? Can share?
