how can i upload a video to youtube with my canon sd780?

i have the video on my computer, but i cant find it. i went on windows movie maker to edit it and i still cant find it.. i connected my camera to the computer and it transferred to the computer with the canon software that came with the camera.. i don't know where it saved though! and will it still be in hd? how can i fix this next time? thanks.
