Re: Eric Kong's Close-ups
Another one;
The 2 shots here was not really good in my own opinion cos i din use flash and if i did, the water will bounce the light back.

Re: Eric Kong's Close-ups
Try using flash. Maybe it will be better and sharper.

Re: Eric Kong's Close-ups
Yup try indirect flash? that means pointing your flash up and bouncing the flash off white card? will it be better?

Re: Eric Kong's Close-ups
Try it! most of the time i saw people shooting with flash bouncing off white card. So that the flash light will somehow be evenly spread out.

Re: Eric Kong's Close-ups
Not poisonous, just normal one. the poisonous is about the length of 15cm ruler, bigger in size and fast-moving creature and when its hair gets contact with your hand will cause paralyze!
Re: Eric Kong's Close-ups
Are you dead serious about paralyze? for how long?

Re: Eric Kong's Close-ups
Well, it's believe it or not. another example i can describe here is home centipede and jungle's centipede. if you're afraid of the one found behind your house, then be very afraid when u come across one in the jungle!
Here's the real poisonous caterpillar, sorry for being blur it was quite fast moving towards me as i was trying to capture it up-close and personal;
And here, is the centipede i mentioned above;
Sorry, i dun have time for use off-camera flash as i din want to risk my own life for this little guy. according to the guide, it normally hides under rock and it has the ability to jump but not sure how high. when i hear the guide said it can jump, i just back away and this was the closest i can to.

Re: Eric Kong's Close-ups
If the guide din tell me anything, i would have just go nearer and focus on it and capture the shot.
Re: Eric Kong's Close-ups
Actually ok la. Because it will jump onto your lens first then you will drop it! lol Just joking.
