I also took a number recently too. Pity i dun have an extender for my 70-200mm...if not, my moon can be bigger and clearer.

Wow thats so cool, but it'll look better if the moon is bigger, else with some borders to aid the framing i think...

I love doing moon shots too! but hor always blur with my 28-200 fully extended.
Tried to use a 70-300mm on it, but it just wont focus clearly, anyone has any idea?

I think i know what is the problem, try mirror lock up function in your camera. because of your mirror movement, it cause vibrations, thus causing the blur in your photo i believe.

i'm using it on a tripod with lock up.
the 70-300 just doesnt wanna focus the ultra long distance.. =(

I see, why not use manual focus?
